- Markers
- Printed images of different household chores
- Storybook about helping at home (optional)

### Lesson Procedure:
**1. Introduction (5 minutes)**
- Start with a warm-up song about helping at home. For example: "This is the way we brush our teeth" (to the tune of "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush").
- Explain the day's topic in simple terms: "Today, we are going to talk about the things we do at home to help our family. These things are called responsibilities."
**2. Discussion (10 minutes)**
- Ask the children if they help at home and what they do. Examples could include:
- Putting away toys
- Helping to set the table
- Brushing their teeth
- Write down their responses on the chart paper or whiteboard.
- Explain why it's important to help at home (e.g., makes the home a nicer place to live, helps parents and siblings).
**3. Learning Activity (10 minutes)**
- Show printed images of various household chores like:
- Making the bed
- Watering plants
- Sorting laundry
- Pass out the images and ask each child to tell what the chore is and why it’s important.
- Allow each child to come up and stick their image on the chart paper/whiteboard in the proper column labeled "My Responsibilities."
**4. Demonstration (5 minutes)**
- Choose one simple task to demonstrate, such as putting away toys.
- Briefly show how the task is done and invite a couple of students to try it themselves while the class watches.
**5. Wrap-Up and Conclusion (5 minutes)**
- Recap the responsibilities discussed.
- Praise the children for their contributions and encourage them to help at home.
- If using a storybook, read a short story about a character who helps at home.
- Hand out stickers or small rewards for their participation.
